Rev. David Otto Ekwang

Born in Kole District and called into ministry as a teenager in 1992, Rev. David’s journey has been marked by a relentless pursuit of God’s heart for the vulnerable. With more than 30 years of pastoral experience—spanning youth leadership to his ordination as a Reverend in 2023—his life and calling strongly reflect COTN’s mission. 

 Rev. David has faithfully served COTN-Uganda in several key leadership roles, including Director of Administration, Education Director, and Venture Director. These experiences have uniquely equipped him to serve with vision, integrity, and compassion in his current role as Country Director. 

 A lifelong scholar, Rev. David holds advanced degrees in Public Administration and Community Development and is currently pursuing a Master of Biblical Studies. Above all, he is a devoted shepherd and family man. He is married to Claudia Apio and is the proud father of four children—his biological daughter, Precious Tali, and three adopted children—beautifully embodying COTN’s vision of love in action.
