Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Far too many children in Haiti don’t have enough food to eat, don’t have access to education and medical care, and don’t have a safe place to live.
We need to provide care to as many children as possible. But in order to do that, we need more funds.
A grant writer working in-country can help us raise those funds. They can identify possible sources of revenue from other organizations, foundations, and programs in Haiti.
With this money, we can provide the physical, educational, social, and spiritual care that helps children escape the cycle of poverty.
Taylor* felt a sudden, severe pain in her chest. She couldn’t breathe.

Miss Magalie is a nurse at Children of the Nations. She was the first one to suggest that Taylor might have sickle cell anemia. She referred Taylor to a local Haitian doctor who was finally able to give Taylor an official diagnosis and a treatment plan.
Miss Magalie helps oversee Taylor’s treatment plan, ensuring she has access to the care and treatments she needs to be physically healthy. Someday, Taylor wants to be a gynecologist.
