Amidu* was brought to Children of the Nations’ Sierra Leone clinic with a dangerously high fever, vomiting and weak. Tests revealed a familiar enemy: malaria.
Malaria causes fever and flu-like symptoms. Without treatment, it can lead to seizures, organ failure, and even death—and children, like Amidu, are particularly at risk. Malaria is treatable. But it’s hard for a child living in poverty to get the medical care they need.
Will you make sure a child like Amidu has the emergency care they need? Every $25 you give helps one child receive emergency medical care when they need it. In addition to providing emergency care, your gift will provide other help to children in need, including food, shelter, education, and more as needed.
