John Kettnich

John is a founding member and Partner at StepStone Group, a global private markets investment platform. He graduated from the University of San Diego and is a CFA charterholder.

John's journey with Children of the Nations began 15 years ago at Flood Church. Moved by a heart for holistic global development, he has served alongside our teams in Malawi and Haiti and worked with us on strategic initiatives in microfinance, business connections, and sustainability. Through it all, John has been a faithful donor and advocate for children, using his gifts to strengthen our ministry and the care each child receives.

John lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Jennifer, and their two young children. Jennifer has traveled to Malawi with John, and together they sponsor several children and support Children of the Nations in many other ways. We're deeply grateful for their partnership. Their family is part of Vintage Church LA, where John also serves on the board of directors.
