Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) in the Dominican Republic
Project Goal: $7,838
Currently Raised: $7,225Still Needed: $613
Children of the Nations is excited to launch the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) program in all five of our communities in the Dominican Republic. In partnership with the University of Texas, this one-year program will empower community leaders to teach individuals important practices to improve their health and prevent the spread of disease. This will allow our children to live healthier, stronger lives, and stay in school, focusing on their future. One of the most exciting aspects of this program is that our first medical school graduate, Charinson Feliz, will be overseeing the program as the Field Officer.
Though the University of Texas will contribute the majority of the funding for this project, COTN is responsible for $7,840. Here’s how you can provide for our children:
• $200 will provide one month’s transport for the Field Officer, Charinson.
• $175 will provide one month’s salary for the Field Officer, Charinson.
• $150 will cover expenses to train one community leader.
• $100 will provide one community’s end-of-year prize.
This is an awesome opportunity to bring transformation to individual children, as well as to whole communities! Thank you!
