E-mail Messages
E-mail was the first form of communication over networked systems; indeed, it actually predates the internet itself. Today, more than 90% of internet users between 18 and 72 send and receive email, making it the top online activity, even over search engines! This makes e-mail a very powerful tool for communicating your message! To help you take advantage of this tool, we have created customizable e-mail messages that you can send out to family and friends to introduce them to Children of the Nations. Share your passion for what we do! Tell them about your personal experiences with Children of the Nations, and let them know that they too can become a part of the family!
Hey friend!
I just wanted to let you know about a non-profit organization that I recently started getting involved with. It’s called Children of the Nations (COTN) and it’s dedicated to raising children who transform nations. Right now, COTN serves in Sierra Leone, Malawi, Uganda the Dominican Republic, Liberia and Haiti providing holistic care to orphaned and destitute children.
I found out about COTN through some friends who went on a trip with the organization to one of the countries in Africa. After hearing their stories about the children and seeing their photos, I’m really excited about what COTN is doing. And it’s great because COTN has a ton of stuff we can do here to help the kids it’s serving overseas. You should join me! COTN actually just revamped it’s website – you can check it out here: www.cotni.org. Let me know what you think. I’d love to organize a group of people to either go on a trip or even volunteer or collect donations here at home.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Hey friend!
You know when you get really excited about something, you can’t help but tell everyone about it? That’s where I’m at right now. I’ve just recently become aware of a non-profit organization called Children of the Nations (COTN). I found out about the group through my church and was immediately interested. COTN is dedicated to raising children who transform nations. To do that, they serve in Sierra Leone, Malawi, Uganda the Dominican Republic, Liberia and Haiti providing holistic care to orphaned and destitute children. After looking through COTN’s website and talking to other people who are involved, I just got excited about what COTN is doing and how easy it is to join in this ministry. (And no, you don’t have to go to Africa.)
I started sponsoring a child! For only $32 a month, I’m paying for a child in Sierra Leone to go to school, have school uniforms, school supplies AND a meal each day. The nice part is that I don’t feel like I’m giving to some huge corporation where I’m not sure if my money is actually getting to the child. I just finished writing him a letter, so hopefully I’ll get one back that I can show you guys.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know about COTN. I’d love for you to just check out the website (www.cotni.org) and read about all the different aspects of what they’re doing in each place. And, even if you don’t want to sponsor a child, you can donate clothes, school stuff and pretty much anything else.
Thanks for reading. Let me know what you think.
Hey friend!
I just wanted to let you know about this non-profit organization that I recently learned about. I’ve always been kind of reluctant to give to those commercials on TV that show the poor children with the bloated stomachs, but then when I watch documentaries about Africa or read any articles about poverty around the world, it makes me want to do something.
Anyway, I just found out about this non-profit organization called Children of the Nations (COTN). It’s dedicated to raising children who transform nations – it provides holistic, Christ-centered care to orphaned and destitute children in Sierra Leone, Malawi, Uganda the Dominican Republic, Liberia and Haiti. The more I read about it, the more I liked. It only has about 45 staff here in the US, but in each country, COTN employs hundreds of national people in its ministry. One of COTN’s goals is to empower the national people to a life of self-sustainability instead of just giving them relief aid. I really liked that.
Anyway, I just wanted to introduce you to this organization because I feel like I’d be making a difference if I joined them in some way. I’m thinking about sponsoring a child through COTN or maybe volunteering – or we could go on a trip! Let me know what you think – I’d love to hear your thoughts and I’d love for you to get involved with me. Read more at COTN’s website: www.cotni.org/get-involved.
Hey friend!
Do you ever feel like we’re not really making a difference in the world? I do, so I started looking for ways that I could volunteer or make a difference on a global scale. I came across the non-profit organization called Children of the Nations that’s dedicated to raising children who transform nations. Which means, they serve in Sierra Leone, Malawi, Uganda and the Dominican Republic providing holistic, Christ-centered care to orphaned and destitute children. It seems like a really great ministry and it has a crazy amount of ways that people can get involved, give and even go serve in the countries overseas. Just wanted to share it with you.
