Milestones
1995
Chris and Debbie Clark founded Children of the Nations (beginning ministry in Sierra Leone).
1998
Bill Clark, (Chris’ father) serving with his wife, Pat in Malawi, called home to his son, “You’ve got to do something for these orphans. Chris, they are in desperate circumstances!”
1999
Our first Children’s Home is opened in Malawi in Chiwengo Village.
2001
We began our first Agricultural Project at Chitipi Farm near the capital of Lilongwe (which also became one of our children’s homes).
Village Partnership Program begins in Mtsiliza Village.
2004
Our first Skills Center is opened in the village of Mtsiliza.
Our first Teen Home is opened in the village of Mtsiliza.
2006
Construction begins on our Njewa Mission Center.
350-acre Chichere Farm is purchased.
Widows Program begins in Mtsiliza.
2007
Village Partnership Programs begins in the villages of Mgwayi and Chirombo.
KuJAMbula Studio at Njewa Mission Center is built.
