I Love Baseball Event (2010 Baseball Challenge)

Seattle, WA

RESCHEDULED: DUE TO RAIN-OUT

The new location is Whitman Middle School, 9201 15th Ave NW, Seattle, WA

Calling all baseball players! I Love Baseball is fielding a baseball team to participate in The 2010 Baseball Challenge, an event that raises over $100,000 for charities, including (for the first time) I Love Baseball!

I Love Baseball is recruiting a team of players for two games, with a BBQ lunch served in between. Seattle Mariners alumni will serve as honorary coaches. There is no cost to participate, but players are asked to raise $300 in honor of their participation, with all donations benefiting COTN's I Love Baseball program.

This is the seventh annual Baseball Challenge, benefiting Ronald McDonald House, Cocoon House and now, new this year, COTN's I Love Baseball program. Started by a few baseball fanatics at Microsoft, the event has raised more than $100,000 to date, thanks to the passion of organizer Jeff Grove, and the dedication of players. To learn more about the event, visit www.thebaseballchallenge.org.

If you are at all interested in playing some baseball, hanging out with former Mariners, and supporting a good cause please contact benholman@cotni.org.

Thank you for all of your support and we'll see you out on the field!
