The Silverdale Meal Marathon will bring hundreds of volunteers together on Saturday, May 22 to package thousands of meals—helping to fill a forty-foot shipping container!
Volunteers will package food together in groups of ten to twelve, in two-hour sessions between 8 am and 6 pm. If you have a group smaller than twelve, you will be placed with other volunteers to make a team of twelve during your time slot. If you have a group larger than twelve, you can sign up for multiple tables.
With everyone working together, we can package thousands of meals to send to hungry children in Sierra Leone.
We ask every participant to bring a donation toward meals they will package. We operate our whole program on the concept of ONE quarter = ONE meal. This pays for the ingredients, packaging supplies, and shipping. For every quarter you raise, you can package a meal that will be shipped overseas to a child who desperately needs it!
Together, we can get involved locally to make an impact internationally. We can send food to children who do not have enough food to eat. We can stop starvation and malnutrition and give these children hope and a future! Register now!
