Biography

Monica was living with an elderly grandmother who could not take proper care of her. Her mother was young and abandoned her soon after Monica was born. Her father’s whereabouts are unknown. She came into our Lira Children’s Home in February 2010.

Monica is described as a well-behaved, happy and friendly, young girl. She plays well with others and likes playing in the sand. Monica’s favorite foods are beans and sweet potatoes. Her grandmother could not afford to send her to school, but she will soon be enrolled in preschool.

Monica is now living in an environment where she is safe and secure. Please join us in praying for physical and spiritual growth, and blessings in Monica’s life.
