Biography

Lydia comes from the village of Ngora.  She lived with her widowed mother who was unable to take proper care of her.  Lydia moved into our Lira Children’s Home in February 2010.

Lydia is described as a happy, well-behaved, and helpful girl.  She plays well with others and enjoys playing athletic games with her friends.  Lydia’s favorite colors are green and yellow, and her favorite subjects in school are math, English, and Bible. When she grows up, Lydia hopes to be a doctor.  She helps out in her home by cleaning, doing laundry, cooking, and carrying water from the village well.  

Lydia enjoys praying, memorizing scripture, and attending church.  Her favorite Bible verse is Ephesians 1:6. Please join us in praying for physical and spiritual growth, and blessings in Lydia’s life.
