Biography

Dziwamponi lives with her widowed mother and one brother in the village of Chirombo. Dziwamponi’s father died of tuberculosis in 1996. Dziwamponi is living in very poor conditions and lacks sufficient food, clothing and other basic needs.

Dziwamponi is described as an intelligent, honest and responsible girl. She likes to play soccer with her friends. Dziwamponi’s favorite color is purple and she enjoys school where her favorite subject is English. When she grows up, Dziwamponi hopes to be a teacher. Dziwamponi helps her family by cleaning, washing the dishes and carrying water to the home.
