Current Opportunities

As a summer intern you will serve with our national staff and interns. The COTN Internship program is an intensive, hands-on immersion program. Interns will be working daily in our village programs with much interaction with national staff, interns and children.

Different activities may include:
  • Small group mentoring
  • Participating in an after-school tutoring program
  • Co-teaching in a COTN school or nursery school
  • Teaching computer, English or sewing lessons
  • Participating in activities pertaining to microfinance
  • Teaching health classes or conducting sports camps
  • Conducting music, drama, art or fashion design classes
  • Organizing debate teams
  • Teaching world government classes
  • Creating promotional videos
  • Coordinating weekly outreach meetings for hundreds of children
  • Working along side of national staff on agriculture projects
  • Assisting with COTN Sponsorship projects or Venture Teams
  • Assisting with COTN home maintenance
  • Assisting with a COTN Feeding Program

Included in the cost of the trip are training materials, food, lodging, in-country transportation, emergency evacuation insurance, ministry expenses and airfare. As a volunteer intern you may receive contributions from friends and family who will sponsor you. Once accepted, you will receive tools to assist you in your support raising.

Not included in the cost of the trip are passport and visa costs, entry and departure taxes, vaccinations, health insurance premium of $250 and money for personal expenses (souvenirs, snacks, laundry, etc…).

You must also pay any cost associated with an early departure due to a serious violation of COTN policies.
