COTN’s University Student Program provides funding to cover tuition, books, and room and board for the children in our program who desire to go to college. After a little more than a decade of ministry, COTN is just now beginning to see its “first-fruits”—our oldest children graduating from secondary school and entering university. How amazing it is to see these young adults pursuing their “once impossible” dreams of becoming doctors, teachers, lawyers, and pastors.

But, just as in the US, not all of our children have a dream or desire to go to college. We realize that each child is an individual—gifted with different talents, passions, and dreams. COTN’s Skills Centers seek to meet the needs of our students wishing to pursue training or vocational education in such areas as computers, sewing, weaving, baking, carpentry, hotel management, catering, agriculture, and more.

Our desire is empower our children to be all they are meant to be. For some, this means being equipped to actively participate in their society and provide for themselves and their family. For others, it means being empowered in strategic areas of influence so that they may become instruments of change in their nations.
