Rock for Africa

Rock for Africa was started in 2007 by ordinary people touched by the rampant poverty and staggering number of orphaned children that the AIDS epidemic has created in Africa. In response, founders decided to couple their heartache for Africa with their passion for music resulting in benefit concerts that raise awareness and monetary support for their partner organizations, such as Children of the Nations (COTN). Rock for Africa hosts benefit concerts in California and Florida. Currently, Rock for Africa is hosting a concert in San Diego, California on May 8, 2008 to support COTN’s Ten Campaign – providing training, testing and treating for HIV.
