Raising $25,000 for COTN

On June 22, 2008, COTN supporter Brian Owen will be competing in Ironman Coeur d’Alene to raise money for Children of the Nations. Brian will be partnering with the Janus Charity Challenge to raise $25,000 for our ministry.

For those of you not familiar with the Ironman Triathlon, it has long been considered the world’s most grueling, physically demanding one-day endurance event. The race consists of a 2.4 mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride and a 26.2-mile run and must be completed in 17 hours.

You may be thinking, “I would love to help out, but I can’t do an Ironman triathlon!!” Well, the good news is, you don’t have to! By sponsoring Brian, 100% of your donation will go directly to Children of the Nations. All donations are tax deductible. Last year alone, 49 athletes participating in the Janus Charity Challenge at Ironman Coeur d’Alene raised over 1.3 million for designated nonprofits and Janus made an additional $50,000 contribution to the beneficiaries of the top fundraisers.
