Mark Drennan is Vice President of International Development, responsible for strategic oversight of international governance and program development, maintaining strong communication with Global Alliance partners, and overseeing budget management for grants, projects, and the international branch. Mark also chairs the Global Alliance Council.
Mark began serving as a volunteer with Children of the Nations in Sierra Leone in 2008 before taking on the role of Sierra Leone Liaison. In 2012, Mark led the foundation of Children of the Nations UK & Ireland which he continues to lead as Director. He holds an MA in Comparative Ethnic Conflict from Queen’s University, Belfast and is a graduate of the CARE Leadership Programme. During his time of service with Children of the Nations, Mark has shown his leadership skills, professionalism, knowledge of cross-cultural issues and program management, and dedication to the children in our ministry.
Mark lives in Northern Ireland with his wife Joanna and their two children.
