Introduction

Do you have specialized skills in identifying, treating, or educating children with special needs? A team is forming to support and educate teachers, located in the Dominican Republic, in special education strategies and methods. Please consider lending your expertise for this week-long adventure.

Who Should Go?

Teachers with special education experience, educators, special needs professionals, etc.

Breakdown of Costs and Deadlines

Estimated cost per person: $1,600. Airfare can vary greatly depending on your departure city. The total package price includes estimated airfare and all trip-related in-country costs (lodging, meals, transportation, etc.).

Application/Payment Deadlines

August 1, 2008 – Application and a $200 non-refundable deposit

September 1, 2008 – Airfare funds are due

October 1, 2008 – Balance less deposit due
