What Can I Expect

When I Sign Up to Sponsor a Child?

UPON ENROLLMENT

You will receive a portfolio of your child, including a photo, biography information, correspondence guidelines, etc.

CORRESPONDENCE

Your child will communicate to you at least three times a year through letters, drawings, a photo, and an update on their progress in school. You are invited to write and send pictures of yourself to your child as often as you like.

GIFTS

We plan a special Christmas program each year and invite your participation financially as well as through correspondence.  (For more information on sending gifts, please review our Sponsorship FAQs.)

VISITS

Visiting your child can be an exciting and encouraging experience for both you and your sponsored child. For more information on how to set up a trip to meet your child, please contact our Venture Department at 360.698.7227, ext. 1039, or online at www.cotni.org/trips.
