Curious as to how you might fit into our mission?  Consider how your unique skills, talents or resources could benefit our ministry either through the Holistic Care we provide to our children or through the Seven Cultural Influencers we center our ministry efforts around:

HOLISTIC CARE:

Physical

Social

  • Maintaining cultural values including traditional ethnic dance, storytelling and dress are important to us.  Travel to one of our countries and serve as a consultant, offering advice on ways to encourage this in our programs.

Mental

Spiritual

SEVEN CULTURAL INFLUENCERS:   

1)  Family

2)  Faith

  • Partner with our Church of the Nations program and work with our in-country staff to plan future church growth.
  • Are you a pastor?  Take a Venture Trip or serve as a consultant overseas and disciple our in-country church staff and lay pastors.

3)  Education

  • Join a Venture Teach team to work in one of the Children of the Nations schools, or become an Education Consultant in one of our countries.

4)  Government / Politics / Justice 

5)  Business / Economics

  • Work with our Development Liaison, Peter Drennan (peterdrennan@cotni.org) to design micro-finance programs in each of our countries.
  • Donate your professional services as a financial advisor.

6)  Media / Arts / Entertainment

  • Create or edit video for use as an official COTN-USA promotional piece!
  • Professional photographer?  Travel to one of our countries to take photos for use in various publications.
  • An artist or tradesperson?  Travel to one of our countries and teach a class, creating an opportunity for a skill-based business opportunity.
  • Interested in music?  Work with our KuJAMbula Studio staff in Malawi.  Current needs include developing and creating radio programs, outfitting the recording studio with musical instruments, imparting knowledge on staff (recording, mixing, etc.)

7)  Environment

  • Generate awareness regarding the environmental conditions in Africa and the Dominican Republic.
  • Share your expertise in areas such as water filtration, crop rotation, irrigation techniques, alternative power sources, etc.
