As Senior Director of COTN's Advancement Department, Pam Wright oversees and directs COTN's editorial, graphic design, audio/visual, and website efforts—communicating with partners and promoting the general ministry of COTN as well as the many programs within it.

A graduate of the University of Washington (studying English and History), Pam was pursuing law school when the Lord made it clear that He had very different plans for her.  Following His leading, she paused to start a family, worked for more than 12 years as a freelance editor for several major publishing houses in New York, and was eventually called into leadership in various ministries including serving as Director of Women's Ministries at Peninsula Bible Fellowship in Bremerton, Washington.

Though Pam has been aware of Children of the Nations (COTN) since its inception in 1995, it wasn’t until 2005 when she was considering a Venture Trip, that she found COTN was in need of a writer/editor. “It seemed a perfect fit for me—a culmination of what the Lord had been preparing me for all these years," she says.  Shortly thereafter, Pam took on the larger role of Communications Director and has since stepped into senior leadership serving on COTN's Vision Team.

"Gathering stories about our children—their challenges, their hopes, their dreams—and sharing those stories in such a way as to inspire others to get involved in this incredible ministry is the highlight of what I get to do," says Pam.  "And traveling to our countries and actually meeting our children—that's the part that feels like a dream job!"  Besides the four children in Sierra Leone and Uganda that they sponsor through COTN, Pam and her husband Chris have three teenagers: sons Alec and Hayden and a daughter, Taylor, and reside in Bremerton, Washington.
