Advocates Council
As part of our strategy to further our mission, Children of the Nations has formed the Advocates Council—a group of individuals who are partnering with us by contributing their time, talents, and resources.
This unique community of supporters is loyal to Children of the Nations and committed to spreading the vision of our organization to those within their own network. They are actively involved through participating in quarterly meetings, developing fundraising initiatives and mobilizing people around them to actively take part in our ministry to children.
Our geographically diverse Advocates Council consists of members located throughout the United States. Whether in Washington, California, Florida, Arizona, Minnesota, Michigan or Utah, their unique partnership is helping us grow the family of Children of the Nations and we're so thankful for their commitment to our children.
The Advocates Council is made up of people from all walks of life—from a wide variety of professions and industries—each contributing individual expertise and insight which serves to enrich the Council as a whole. Our Advocates Council is not an advisory council or board, but rather a team of individuals with a shared passion of lending their own experiences and wisdom to the projects that we work on and issues that arise to bring us closer to our goals.
Members of the Advocates Council are actively involved in existing programs (such as our Share the Vision events and fundraising banquets), but their main objective is to develop new ideas that haven't yet been explored, identifying and implementing the best practices to move this mission forward in exciting ways.
As an Advocate, you will demonstrate through action that you are passionate about caring for children and are willing to share our mission (and yours!) within your own sphere of influence. In joining our Advocates Council, you will become a spokesperson on behalf of Children of the Nations, speaking out for those who cannot speak for themselves (Prov. 31:8). Become part of a team of people who are hoping to grow this mission across the United States!
