Secondary Education

Our goal at Children of the Nations is that all of our students have the opportunity to complete their senior-secondary education (grades 9 – 12).  In developing nations, the expense of school coupled with family obligations often compete against the student’s ability to complete secondary school, especially for girls.  COTN operates secondary schools in Sierra Leone (Mallory Jansen Memorial School) and Malawi (International Christian Academy). In other countries, COTN does not have its own senior-secondary schools, but rather partners with public and private secondary schools (local facilities or boarding schools) by providing funding for tuition, books, room, and board.  COTN is committed to assisting all COTN children to complete secondary school because education will change the future of children, their communities, and ultimately their nations.
