Summary:

The COTN–USA Communications Dept. seeks a Volunteer PR Coordinator/Consultant to assist our ministry with public relations.

* May serve on-site at our Silverdale, Washington campus or remotely (though a Kitsap or King County resident is preferred, as developing a personal/professional connection with local media is our goal).

Responsibilities:

Develop opportunities for positive PR for Children of the Nations (COTN)
Effectively promote COTN to local and regional media
Serve in an advisory role to aid our team in writing press releases, creating press kits, and to strategically plan ways to engage the public and media in the Children of the Nations mission

Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position is one with solid background in PR who is seeking an altruistic outlet for their talents.
Having good connections within the local PR community is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills is a must.
