Biography

Chimwemwe lives with her mother, one brother and one sister in the village of Mtsiliza. Her father’s whereabouts are unknown. Chimwemwe is living in very poor conditions where her family lacks sufficient food, clothing and other basic needs.

Chimwemwe is described as a reliable, well-behaved and helpful girl. She plays well with others and likes to play netball with her friends. Chimwemwe’s favorite color is red and her favorite subject in school is language. When she grows up, Chimwemwe hopes to be a nurse. She helps her family by sweeping the floor, washing dishes and carrying water to the home.
