Biography

Brian lives with his widowed mother, one brother and three sisters in the village of Chilombo. Brian’s father died of a heart attack in 2002. Brian is living in very poor conditions and lacks sufficient food, clothing and other basic needs.

Brian is described as a quiet, intelligent and gentle, young man. He likes to play tag and soccer with his friends. Brian’s favorite color is gray and he enjoys school where his favorite subject is math. When he grows up, Brian hopes to be a teacher. Brian helps his family by cleaning, washing dishes and carrying water to the home.
