Biography

Tito lives with his elderly grandmother and one brother in the village of Chirombo. Tito’s mother died of malaria in 2000 and the whereabouts of his father are unknown. Tito is living in very poor conditions and lacks sufficient food, clothing and other basic needs.

Tito is described as a responsible, cooperative and honest boy. He likes to play soccer and tag with his friends. Tito’s favorite color is blue and he enjoys school where his favorite subject is English. When he grows up, Tito hopes to be a nurse so he can help sick people. Tito helps his family by cleaning, assisting in the kitchen and carrying water to the home.
