Biography

Kathawani lives with her mother, two brothers and one sister in the village of Chirombo. Kathawani’s parents separated in 2005. She is living in very poor conditions where she lacks sufficient food, clothing and other basic needs.

Kathawani is described as a quiet, responsible and gentle, young girl. She likes to play soccer and tag. Her favorite color is brown and her favorite subject in school is language arts. When she grows up, Kathawani hopes to be a teacher. Kathawani helps out in her home by cleaning,
washing clothes and carrying water to the home.
