The JESUS Film
Based on the Gospel of Luke, the JESUS film is a powerful evangelical tool. Translated into more than 1,050 languages, Children of the Nations staff travel to surrounding villages to show the film, usually in makeshift, outdoor open-air “theatres,” often attracting crowds from rural villages as it is unlike anything they have ever seen before. They then follow up with individuals who make the decision to follow Christ. In areas where there is already a local church, our staff connects these new believers to the local congregation. Areas that do not have an existing church oftentimes establish a church plant following a JESUS film showing.
