By participating with a Venture Team, you will be strategically partnering with Children of the Nations (COTN) national staff in our vision to raise children who transform nations.  Groups of any size may travel to meet our children, participate in projects, and become an integral part of what God is doing through Children of the Nations.

There are two ways to participate with a Venture Team:

Form A Team — Become A Team Leader (apply)
You can form your own Venture Team by applying to serve as a Team Leader and gathering a group of people from your church and/or community to form a Venture Team to serve in one of the countries in which COTN operates (Dominican Republic, Malawi, Sierra Leone, or Uganda).

Join A Team — Become A Team Member
(apply)
You can join a COTN Venture Team as a Team Member on a scheduled trip with an existing COTN team or a team leaving from your church or community.  COTN will connect you with a Team Leader who will consider your application and help you prepare for the trip.  As a Team Member, you are responsible for interacting with your Team Leader to receive training material, and you are required to addend 80% of scheduled team meetings.

Venture Teams use their knowledge and unique experience to partner with our national staff in serving our children and their communities.  Below are several types of Venture Trips:

General
Participate in a project that is designed to focus on one of COTN’s Seven Cultural Influencers.

Medical
Provide medical care, dental care, trauma counseling and/or health education to children and nationals, imparting healthy habits, proper hygiene techniques, and positive lifestyle choices that will aid in the progress of overcoming the cycle of poverty and disease and can be passed on for generations to come.

Construction
Work on a construction project that allows COTN to provide safe and reliable children’s homes, medical clinics, schools, universities, and other sites.  Whether you have some experience or are a professional in a construction field, with your hard work you can take part in building and maintaining structures for our children.

Vision
Learn about the programs in-country and experience how COTN is raising children who will transform nations.  Meet COTN national staff, visit schools and clinics, and ask questions with the intention of discovering how you can partner with COTN in our mission.
