Banta Children's Homes

Scattered down a hillside on the backside of our Banta Ministry Center property are ten small houses arranged in a horseshoe shape, their zinc roofs shining in the sun—Children of the Nations’ Banta Children’s Homes. Our Banta Children’s Homes provide a family-style environment for the orphaned children in our care to grow up in. Each family-style home, housing 10-12 children, is run by a home mother with the assistance of “aunties” who together serve as the primary caregivers to the children. We currently have ten children’s homes at our Banta Ministry Center. Our Banta Children’s Homes provide safe, nurturing, holistic, full-time residential care for orphans identified as the worst-of-the-worst cases.
Our Banta Children’s Homes, situated in our Banta Children's Village, allow our children to experience all that having a family entails—the love and care of “siblings” and “parents” and the responsibilities that come with running a household (domestic chores, food preparation, gardening, home maintenance, discipline, family devotions, etc.). Situated adjacent to our ministry center, the children have access to quality education and medical care. Each home bears a unique name reflecting the many values we desire to impart on our children: House of Truth, House of Faith, House of Integrity, House of Courage, House of Strength, House of Joy, House of Hope, House of Love, House of Peace (Teen Girls Hostel), and House of Grace.
