Thank you for your interest in being a Venture Team Member. Children of the Nations currently sends teams to the Dominican Republic, Sierra Leone, Malawi and Uganda.
As an individual team member, our goal is to connect you with an existing team. We will do our best to have you join a team in your area; however, if there is no team near to you, you will have to complete the training on your own (with the guidance of your team leader) and then meet up with your team on the ministry field.
What Will I Do?
Children of the Nations will unite with you and your team to select the ministry project best suited for your or your group’s skills, resources, and time line.
- Village ministry programs
- Educational seminars
- Medical/dental clinics
- Sponsorship projects
- Sports clinics
- Skills trainings
- Construction projects
- Craft Clubs
- Professional workshops
- Staff support
- Training of national workers
- Street Ministry
Training
You will be thoroughly prepared with a comprehensive manual, which covers ideas for fundraising and being a part of a team, as well as preparedness for cross-cultural encounters, spiritual life on the field, ministry readiness, and country-specific resources.
Ministry
Once in-country, you will personally bring the love and hope of Christ to children and families in need. You will learn a variety of ministry approaches that will allow you to practically help and present the gospel to the little ones you contact.
Debriefing
Before returning home, you will be given the opportunity to mentally and spiritually process the radical impact this trip has made on your life. Follow-up material will aid you in taking what you have learned and integrating it into your life, wherever you are.
How Do I Get Started?
